Meet The Trainer

Toni's journey as a dog trainer began in 2015 when she joined Petco, where her passion for canines and dedication to her craft flourished. Her immersion in the world of dog training led her to new opportunities, and in 2017, she elevated her expertise by joining a local board and train facility. During her time there, which spanned until 2019, Toni gained invaluable experience working closely with dogs of diverse breeds, temperaments, and training needs.

This hands-on experience proved pivotal for Toni, sharpening her training techniques and broadening her knowledge. Her upbringing, surrounded by animals, fostered a deep understanding and love for dogs from an early age. This profound connection to dogs, combined with her tireless commitment to their well-being, has earned her recognition and trust within the community.

Today, Toni stands as a trusted professional, sought after by dog owners seeking guidance and support in their journey with their furry companions. Driven by her love for dogs and a desire to foster harmonious relationships between pets and their owners, Toni approaches each training session with patience, understanding, and a wealth of knowledge.

Her methodology revolves around positive reinforcement techniques tailored to each dog's unique personality and needs. With a keen understanding of canine psychology and a dedication to staying abreast of the latest advancements in training methodologies, Toni ensures that every dog under her care receives the attention and guidance necessary to thrive.

From addressing obedience issues to curbing problematic behaviors and strengthening the bond between human and canine, Toni's compassionate guidance and unwavering dedication help dogs and their humans unlock their full potential, leading to happier, more harmonious lives together. Whether it's puppies taking their first steps in training or older dogs learning new tricks, Toni believes that with the right approach, any dog can reach their full potential. 

Toni got her first furry friend when she was two years old. Over the years she has had 6 canine companions of her own, all of which have been rescued from shelters or off the streets. Currently, she has two dogs, Nova (left) and Madeline (right).

Nova 

• Born 11/2021 
• Labrador Retriever/Pitbull mix
• Found at 7-weeks old on a Facebook post "free to a good home"
• A social butterfly
• An energetic, intelligent, fearless, sweet, and snuggly pup who loves socializing, and playing fetch with her soccer ball!  
• Enjoys going on the paddle board
• Best described as:  "Nosey Nova" 

Madeline (Maddie) 

• Born 08/2016 
• Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog/American Staffordshire mix 
• Found at 7-weeks old by Toni's old coworker wandering the streets after Hurricane Matthew.
• A wall-flower
• An adventurous, brilliant, independent, patient, intuitive, and loyal dog who loves car rides and exploring nature.
• Has been sheep herding at Draxen Farms
• Best described as: "A Lady" or "Queen Bee"

Madeline and Nova's favorite place to go is the beach.
